Recently, our company (BEFANBY) officially put into operation a KPC-40T chain-driven rail transfer cart in a large manufacturing workshop. This rail transfer equipment, specifically designed for heavy-duty industrial scenarios, provides a brand-new solution for the transfer of heavy workpieces in the workshop thanks to the stable output and efficient operation of chain drive, marking a new level of automation within the factory.
Chain Drive Enables Stable and Fast Heavy-Duty Transfer
Designed specifically for 40-ton heavy-duty conditions, this rail transfer cart uses a high-strength chain conveyor system. The core transmission components are made of alloy steel, easily handling the demand for single-load transport of 40 tons, effectively avoiding the slippage and wear problems of traditional drive methods under heavy loads.
Leveraging the power advantages of chain drive, the cart's operating speed is significantly improved, reaching a maximum of 30m/min (adjustable), far exceeding the average level of traditional transfer carts. Meanwhile, the low-loss characteristics of chain drive allow the equipment to maintain stable power output during long-distance, high-frequency transportation, significantly reducing the waiting time for workpiece transfer between workshops and providing crucial support for accelerating production cycles.

Multiple Design Optimizations for Complex Industrial Scenarios
In addition to the efficient chain drive system, this rail-mounted transfer cart has undergone several optimizations to meet the actual needs of industrial scenarios:
Heavy-duty Protection Design: The cart body is welded from a high-strength steel structure, and the platform is equipped with dedicated fixed supports, which can stably place heavy workpieces such as steel coils and large castings, ensuring zero deviation and zero shaking during transportation; combined with a built-in overload protection device, it ensures the safety of equipment operation from the source.
Precise Rail Adaptation: Using cast steel wheels that match standard rails, the positioning accuracy during operation can reach ±1mm. It can achieve precise start and stop on fixed rails in the workshop and can also adapt to long-distance straight-line transportation scenarios, meeting the material flow needs between different processes.
Intelligent Control Enables Operation: Equipped with a PLC control system, it supports manual/automatic dual-mode switching, allows for preset transport routes and speeds, and, in conjunction with workshop safety railings and emergency stop devices, enables unmanned and safe operation, significantly reducing manual operation costs and safety risks.

Full-Scenario Application, Helping Industrial Transportation Reduce Costs and Increase Efficiency
Currently, the KPC-40T rail transfer cart has been officially put into use at customer sites. It can also be applied in multiple industries such as metallurgy, machinery manufacturing, and automotive parts processing. In enterprise work sites, the vehicle, through stable chain-driven power, achieves efficient transfer of steel coils from the rolling mill to the storage area, increasing transport efficiency by more than three times compared to traditional manual forklifts, while reducing the risk of workpiece collisions during heavy-duty handling.
A BEFANBY representative stated that the launch of the chain-driven rail transfer cart fills the efficiency gap in heavy-duty, long-distance industrial handling scenarios. In the future, customized rail transport equipment with different tonnage, speed, and functional configurations will be launched to meet the needs of different industries, providing efficient and stable industrial logistics equipment to help more manufacturing enterprises achieve cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and intelligent upgrades.
